Scott Thigpen – Producer
For 15 years, Scott Thigpen has traveled the globe producing stories about it’s people and cultures. His work has garnered nearly four-dozen international awards and film festival selections. Thigpen’s programs have aired on ABC, NBC, PBS, Australian Broadcasting Corp., NHK, Al Jazeera, and featured at The Smithsonian Institution and U.S. State Department. Focusing on humanitarian issues, Thigpen has produced projects for the International Trachoma Initiative, CARE, the Captain Planet Foundation, and he co-produced and edited the Emmy Award-winning Holocaust documentary Burning Questions. Most recently, Thigpen wrote, produced and directed The Last Child which aired on PBS stations nationwide.
